Breakfast of Champions

On May 29th CREBA held our most recent Breakfast of Champions featuring Peter Carroccio, Managing Principal at Cushman & Wakefield where he detailed the unorthodox route that brought him to commercial real estate. Peter was planning to go to Georgetown Medical School but a severe rugby injury sent him on a different course. Peter explained that he “had to hit a reset button”. After two years learning business at IBM, Peter and a friend started a successful landscaping firm. Two years later, they sold the company and Peter set his sights on commercial real estate as an independent contractor. Finally in 2005, he joined a commercial real estate firm. Peter canvassed all over and is convinced, “no one has been thrown out of more buildings than me”!
Peter is convinced that finding creative solutions, learning to accept rejection and working hard has led to his success. He still works 16 hours a day but is dedicated to his family.
Thank you to Peter for speaking and Cushman & Wakefield for hosting and for the delicious breakfast.
