For the first step in the awards process, you will want to read and review the rules for each category. Below you will find links to each category’s page. Each page will provide you with the rules for the category as well as an example submission where relevant.
Broker of the Year nominees must meet minimum qualifications for Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club and/or Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. Candidates will be selected based on their overall production during 2017 and prior years, along with their display of leadership qualities within their respective firms, active involvement in community service, and overall participation in the commercial real estate industry.
This award is intended to recognize the CREBA member who best personifies the selfless qualities closely identified with the life and career of Brendan McCarthy. Candidates will be selected for demonstrating those same qualities of unselfishness, caring and giving of oneself to help others.
Recipient of the Rising Star Award shall be selected based upon their contributions to the industry, their customers and their firms. To qualify, they must have been a full-time licensed real estate broker or salesperson for less than five years (i.e., an individual that became a licensed broker after January 1, 2013).
Recipient of the YBN Community Service Award shall be selected from the Young Brokerage Network (35 years and younger) and based upon their dedication to community outreach, philanthropy and service both within the commercial real estate industry and in the community at large. Nominees should demonstrate a character of unselfishness, caring and the giving of oneself to help others.
Here is your opportunity to recognize your firm as the best in the industry. All nominating firms must have at least one member of the firm registered as a member of the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, DC (CREBA) in good standing. You may also nominate your favorite firm in these categories. The categories are: Developer, Landlord, Project Management, Construction Contractor, Law Firm, Architecture Firm, Furniture Vendor, Moving Company and Project of the Year.
