Dan Dooley is a true leader in the brokerage industry. The current chief operating officer at Carr Properties, Dan oversees a portfolio of nearly 4.5 million square feet across the DC metropolitan area. Over the course of his nearly 30-year career in DC real estate he has been involved with many significant transactions, such as Skadden Arps, King & Spalding, Patton Boggs and most recently Fannie Mae’s 750,000 square foot relocation to new Carr development Midtown Center on 15th Street.
Over his career, Dan has worked for top real estate firms including Trammell Crow, JMB/Heitman, JLL, Studley and spent nearly 13 years running the regional leasing efforts for Tishman Speyer. His industry involvement includes serving on the board of directors for GWCAR (CREBA) and DCBIA and the advisory council for both the Jubilee Housing Support Alliance and the JDRF Real Estate Games where he served as honorary chairman in 2012. Dan is the father to four children, is active in his church and community and can often be found coaching soccer or basketball on the weekends.
Known for fairness and integrity, Dan is held in the highest regard across the industry. He is a creative dealmaker who is persistent in finding solutions. Dan had a tremendous year overseeing Carr Properties expanded leasing and marketing efforts, most notably in his luring of Fannie Mae to Midtown Center in the largest private sector lease deal in DC’s history.
